Global Oil Management Group LLC (“GOMG”) has signed contracts with Refineria di Korsou to operate 30,000 barrels per day of crude oil processing at the refinery in Emmastad, Curacao. The refinery will be operated by GOMG’s subsidiary Curacao Oil Refining and Trading (“CORT”). This refinery has been idled since 2019 and is currently undergoing maintenance and repairs by the team at GOMG. It is anticipated that operational startup will occur in early Q2 2024 and Curacao will once again be a major supplier of quality asphalt to the American, Latin American and Caribbean markets.
